So here he is. Standing in front of Sugawara's house, bag full of DVDs. He won't be showing much, facial-wise, but this?

It might actually be fun.

Hopefully less soggy than the last hangout.

Tsukishima-kuuuun~

[Sugawara opens the door with a big smile and greets Tsukishima in a bright, singsongy voice - definitely not a soggy vibe. There's still the odd awkward moment at practices and Sugawara certainly has some dark nights of the soul that he doesn't share with anyone, but overall he's regaining his cheer at an impressive rate.

Almost like all the time spent in someone's company has been directly responsible for improving his mood.]

Come in! Here, I'll take that. [He reaches for the bag as he steps back to let Tsukishima pass.]

[Sugawara's still finding his balance. Oh, he smiles, and he's cheerful, and it's not that things are wrong. Just different. Tsukishima's keeping an eye on it, because that's his job. Staying aware of things that affect the team.

Simple as that.]

Ah - Thanks. Pardon the intrusion.

[Taking care of his shoes, he glances around. Realizing this is the first time visiting a teammate's home. (Besides Yamaguchi's. Obviously.]

[The Sugawara house is on the small side but otherwise fairly average, leaning toward Western rather than traditional furnishings and decoration in that their furniture is mostly raised up from floor level, as are the tables in the living room and dining room. The front entrance hall leads into the living room, with the kitchen and dining room on the other side of a staircase leading up to the bedrooms and bathroom.]

Kenzo! Guests are here! [Suga calls up the stairs once he and Tsukishima are inside. A moment later, two thumps from the ceiling appear to answer him and Suga rolls his eyes.] My little brother. I swear he's gone nonverbal since he turned thirteen. Grab a seat in the living room, I'll bring the snacks out.

[If Tsukishima cares to peruse any of the family pictures hung here and there on the walls, he'll get to see Sugawara Kenzo at various ages - he appears to be a more sensitive type than his older brother, rarely smiling in pictures and posed at a piano instead of decked out in sports regalia like Koushi in his school photos. Both boys take after their father more than their mother, which might be surprising given their delicate features.

Tsukishima will be able to hear Suga bustling around in the kitchen, and they can carry on a conversation without raising their voices if Tsukishima has anything to say before he returns.]

[Huh. Sugawara and Kenzo are about the same age difference as Akiteru and Kei...

Pushing that aside, Tsukki turns to other photos.]

Wow. Middle School you made some... choices. Nice haircut.

Okay, does anyone look good in Middle School? I don't want to know them if so, that level of perfection would get exhausting.

[He emerges from the kitchen with a large tray holding all their snacks and drinks still in the packaging: packs of twizzlers and M&Ms with a bottle of strawberry soda for Tsukishima, a bag of butter popcorn and sour candies for Yamaguchi, and a box of pocky and bag of wasabi crackers with a lychee Calpico for himself. Setting it down on the coffee table, he settles onto a couch that directly faces the TV - there are also two armchairs if Tsukishima would prefer some distance - and grabs his pocky.]

You really do have a sweet tooth, don't you? [It's more obvious with all their choices laid out like this, since Tsukishima's the only one with a uniformly sweet taste profile.]

[With a snicker, Tsukki follows Sugawara to the couch. Best view, easiest access to snacks]

[No sooner has he gotten comfortable than he has to hop right back up to grab the DVDs. "Scatterbrained" isn't usually a word that could be associated with Sugawara, as chaotic as he can be now and then - maybe hosting this little movie day/night has him a bit nervous?

In any case, it's no big deal to grab the bag and set it down beside the TV stand. Just a moment of silliness.]
